The Monumental Complex of San Francesco, a fully restored testament to medieval architecture classified as a national monument, houses five major altarpieces by masters of the Venetian Renaissance: Titian Vecellio Jacopo Robusti, better known as Tintoretto and Paolo Caliari, better known as il Veronese. The red thread uniting these events in January 2023 is not only the particularity of the masterpieces on display - frescoes from the Roman era, works by masters and painters, coming from the most relevant international museum collections and institutions brought together for the first time, works saved from the war and reaching us to reveal the value of art.
